How far is it from Colombo to Sripada.
Considering the movement of the sun (based on the tilt of earth), the range that one could fit in to in the west course ideally should be around 46 degrees (23 tilt x 2). However, with Sri Lanka being a north of the equator, this equation does not quite apply. It could be far less than 46 degrees. However, the below map was compiled by the infamous Astrophysicist, Dr. Kavn Ratnathunga who is an eager follower of the Sunrise from behind the Sripada.
